Krystin Norman and Delilah Cupp have one critical thing in common: they have become "pro skiers" by following their own paths. Between college, pursuing adult careers, injuries, and major life commitments, both women have fallen into the world of professional skiing later in life than most athletes. But they are not getting any younger and they are doing the damn thing anyway.
Â
Taking inspiration from one another’s trajectories, attitudes, and love for skiing, their friendship allows them to learn from each other about the importance of paving your own path, creating community, and keeping things fun.
Â
Research and Development’s mission is to improve the ratio of women to men in backcountry riding, specifically the Natural Selection tour.
Last March, 12 of the best up-and-coming backcountry riders competed at Whitewater Ski Resort for a spot at the 2025 NST tour. This recap highlights the contest and the incredible riding that went down.Â
Nisei is a creative exploration of the biracial experience of skier, Sierra schlag. While in Japan, she is seen as white and while in America, She is seen as Japanese and never accepted as her full Self. Through the lens of skiing, Schlag finds herself on a journey to self-discovery within the two cultures she has ties to.
We often grasp more about the vastness of the universe than the intricacies of our own minds, whether in dreams or waking moments. What are dreams, really?
Bittersweet: An Exploration of Dreams offers a poetic and abstract reflection for the winter of 2023/2024. Featuring Egan Wint, Seb Picard, Bode Merrill, Jack Coyne, Katie Kennedy, Stefi Luxton, Darrah Reid-Mclean, Sierra Forchheimer, Desiree Melancon, and Iris Pham, this exploration invites you to delve into the essence of dreams—what they are, how they feel, what they look like, and their significance.Â
Caroline Claire sees Devin Logan as the big sister she never had. The relationship started from a place of admiration, and eventually led to both of their paths unfolding nearly identically, just seven years apart.Â
Everything culminated in 2014 when Devin won the first ever silver medal in Slopestyle at the Sochi Winter Olympics. As the two grew in their careers their paths began to align and Devin became a mentor to Caroline. Both newly retired, the two are entering the next phase of their aligned paths together — exploring the mountains they’ve called home for years and navigating the peaks and valleys of life.
A bit about SheJumps:
"We believe growth is in our nature, but fear of stereotypes, failure, rejection, labels - those spoken over us, what we've said to ourselves, and what we've believed - limit our growth.

Our vision is to see a world without fear, where people everywhere are living to their potential.

The way we're going to do this is by inspiring people to jump beyond their limitations. This is our day-to-day mission. Practically, we help women and girls take risks in the outdoors to enable them to break through fears and internal/external barriers in life so they can grow to their full potential."
